About this vintage design furniture
An iconic side chair designed by Mathieu Matégot, manufactured by Gubi in Denmark around 2000.
This model, named “Nagasaki”, is one of Matégot’s most famous pieces. The three legged chair has a perforated metal seat nd back, which makes it such a recognizable Matégot design. The black lacquered chair has a red lacquered seat that is attached to the base with lovely small arms as connections.
It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
