About this brand new furniture

Rare set of 8 chairs by Elizabeth Garouste & Mattia Bonetti, model Jour et Nuit, in black gunmetal and bronze patina steel. Garouste & Bonetti began their collaboration and gained worldwide recognition following the interior design of the Parisian nightclub Le Palace in 1979, commissioned by Fabrice Eamer. This model of chairs was designed by the duo in 1991, and published by the Avant-scène Gallery. They have been fully restored and covered with an Italian Dedar jacquard fabric, reference Pazl, which is a silk satin and linen fabric mixing geometric elements and references to primitive art, perfectly matching these chairs and the spirit of Garouste & Bonetti. A unique opportunity to buy a piece of modern design history. Reference : Y. Brunhammer & M.L. Perrin, " Le mobilier français 1960-1998 ", Editions Massin, Paris, 1998, pages 58, 155, 212 and 226.
