About this vintage design furniture
Rare Cocoon pendant lamp by Goldkant Leuchten. Described as a Friedel Wauer design. The distinctive features of this lamp are its spherical and rounded shapes. The steel construction of the wire frame allows the fixture to present itself in the interior space above our heads. Additionally those shapes emanate warm and diffused light introducing to the interior a relaxing atmosphere. Goldkant Leuchten The company was founded just after World War II in 1946 . The first name of the company was Cocoon-Leuchten International . Goldkant Leuchten also produced ceramic lamps. Cocoon lamp designers: Shultz , Baum . The company ceased operations in 1994 .
