About this vintage design furniture

A stunning piece of vintage and mid century furniture in a desk or dressing table by G plan furniture. The chest of drawers consists of a two banks of two drawers with a further central drawer with teak dividers that help to form separate storage compartments, each of the drawer fronts has a single gold pull handle while to the base the chest sit’s on four legs ebonised in black with gold end caps and adjustable feet. The desk has been hand crafted by G Plan furniture and has the gold embossed E Gomme logo within the top drawer and comes from there Chinese White range. The sideboard is a stunning and genuine piece of vintage and mid century furniture that looks amazing with a wonderful look and styling that would suit any home or environment Dimensions Base W 49 Inches D 18 Inches H 28.5 Inches Knee Hole W 18 inches D 18 inches H 25 inches Condition The dressing table is in superb condition made of wood with an oak veneer the desk has been lovingly restored, sanded back to the original wood then French polished and waxed to help preserve the beautiful light colour.

Donald Gomme was a British designer born in 1908 and died in 1960. He founded G Plan Furniture in 1953 with his brother, and the brand quickly became one of the most popular furniture brands in the UK.
