About this vintage design furniture
Octagonal mirror in wood and burr wood. Design Jean-Claude Mahey (label Mahey Paris present on the back). 70's. Nice condition. A few traces of use visible in places: a wound centered on the edge of the upper side, wound caused by the use of a wall mount at the top (see photos and zoom in), a few fine scratches in places on the lower side and the two adjoining sides (see photos and zoom in), tiny and very rare chips of lacquer resin in places on the perimeter in contact with the wall. The total height of the mirror is 72,5 cm.

About the designer
Jean-Claude MAHEY
Mahey is a French designer born in Paris in 1937. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris and began his career working for designer Jacques Adnet. He then opened his own design studio in 1968.
