Set of 3 bowls of white porcelain, partially gilded. Designed by Violise Lunn for Royal Copenhagen 2006. Good vintage condition with small signs of wear due to age and use. Dimensions: Large bowl 26 x 26 cm, height 12 cm Small bowls 14.5 x 14.5 cm, height 8 cm Violise Lunn was born in Copenhagen in 1969, and graduated as a fashion designer in 1995 from Denmarks Design School. She has run her own studio in Copenhagen since 1997, where she specializes in the design and making of one of a kind pieces of clothing for women. Alongside creating these wearable items, Violise Lunn’s other passion is making unwearable items from the simplest textile of all: paper. In 2006 her delicate paper works were translated into porcelain by Royal Copenhagen. “Whether I design porcelain, paper sculpture, paper shoes or dresses, it is detailed, poetic, and feminine,” notes Lunn in an interview in VOGUE February 7, 2021.
