Description:This charming nest of tables was designed by Tom Robertson for Mcintosh of Kirkcaldy in the mid-twentieth century.McIntosh was known in the vintage market for its mid-century style furniture, particularly cabinets and sideboards. Founded in 1869 by Alexander Henry (A.H) McIntosh (1835-1919) in Kirkcaldy, Fife. This beautiful set consists of three tables: a large rectangular table and two smaller tables that store under the large table when not in use.The functional design is perfect for small spaces, the large table folds out and doubles in size to form a spacious coffee table when needed. Both elegant and functional, this beautiful piece would be a wonderful addition to any home.Item Reference:Condition:We have carefully cleaned and repolished this set to preserve its original natural look.The top of each table has been stripped and refinished with two coats of Danish oil and a coat of hard wax for a long lasting finish.
