About this vintage design furniture
A quality vintage hanging lamp made in the 1960s by Kalmar Franken. This Austrian family business has been producing high-quality luxury lamps since 1881. This vintage piece has four glass plates with a relief and texture reminiscent of melting ice shelves. The hanging lamp weighs almost 4 kilos and hangs from a coarse gold-coloured chain. A real eye-catcher for any interior In the 1960s, the company developed various lamps, all based on a special glass design. In addition to pendant and ceiling lamps, the company also made a series of comparable wall lamps with names such as Frankenstein, Rapotenstein and Kreuzenstein. The vintage Kalmar Franken lamp is in good condition for its age.
