Vintage teak linen cupboard by Thorald Madsen, Denmark 1950

Great teak lingerie by Danish cabinetmaker Thorald Madsen. Produced by his own company Thorald Madsen's Snedkeri Københawn, circa 1950. The label of the factory is preserved. Multifunctional piece with many drawers and shelves raised on a solid teak base. It features a large rectangular cabinet with seven interior drawers and four adjustable shelves, and four spacious drawers below with decorative brass handles. The elegant and functional design and high quality joinery will enrich any mid-century bedroom or living room. Overall in excellent original condition with minor signs of use, refreshed with additional coats of Danish oil. All drawers and shelves move smoothly. Headroom: 29.5 cm Drawer height: 8 cm
