About this vintage design furniture
Considered today to be a classic of Danish design, the line of furniture designed by Kai Kristiansen for Aksel Kjersgaard is an extremely successful study in simple, graceful forms. They were produced for about 10 years, from the mid-1950s to the mid-1960s.This example is finished in highly figured Brazilian rosewood. It is offered in excellent condition, the only wear to be found are a few dings on the back legs only. It displays beautifully.

About the designer
Juul KRISTENSEN
Juul Kristensen is a Danish industrial designer born in Copenhagen in 1937. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, graduating in industrial design in 1961.
