About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful and very kuddly charcoal black Butterfly chair, an iconic design of Dutch designer Gerard van den Berg, manufactured in the early ’80s by Montis. This very comfortable chair features a metal frame and a black leather seat. The inspiration of the designer came from making a hollow in the sand on the beach. The chair is in good condition.

Gerrit (Gerard) Van Der Berg (1947-2011) was a Dutch designer known for his modern, functional furniture creations. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as an industrial designer at Gispen, a Dutch furniture company.
