About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful sommerso glass block vase designed by Flavio Poli for Mandruzzato (Murano, Italy) in the 1960s. The vase is made of green, yellow and clear glass. "Sommerso" is a technique developed in Murano in the 1930s which was very popular in the 1950s-70s. The result is a glass with contrasting colours that is commonly cased by a clear layer.
