Vintage Danish teak desk by Gunnar Nielsen for Tibergaard, Denmark 1960s. Elegant and sculptural Danish mid-century modern free standing writing desk. Floating top in teak veneer with bevelled edges in solid teak. Six drawers in front with wide sculpted pulls in teak. Above drawers are two open shelves. Another shelf between the drawer modules. Back features an open bookcase in the entire length of the desk. Angled narrow round tapered legs in solid teak. Key included. Back shelf is 26 cm high. An absolutely beautiful example of Danish modern design that combines elegance with practicality in this freestanding desk. Good vintage condition with natural patina. Few nicks and scratches, cleaned and polished, ready for use. One older repair on edge, please see photo.
