About this vintage design furniture
'Tama' lamp, designed in the 1970s by Isao Hosoe for Valenti Luce. It consists of a semi-translucent white plastic sphere and a cream colored screw cap handle. The handle also allows it to function as a wall or ceiling light.Aside from some minor wear, the lamp is in good condition.

Isao HOSOE
Isao Hosoe is a Japanese industrial designer born in 1939. He graduated in industrial design from Tokyo's Tama Art University in 1961 and began his career working for Sony Corporation, where he contributed to the development of numerous electronic products.
