About this vintage design furniture
Anna Ehrner was born in 1948 in Danderyd, Stockholm. She is a Swedish designer and glass artist. She has also worked as a teacher at the College of Arts. She has worked with Kosta Boda since 1974. Her glass tableware, Line, is one of the best selling tableware in Sweden through the ages.Anna Ehrner is an experimental designer, her work is distinguished by simple but powerful forms and an ability to make shimmering presentations using color in subtle ways. The veils of color within the crystal have become something of a trademark in her art glass, as has the swirled glass found in the Basket and Energy designs. She is also behind such successful collections as our Line glasses and the Contrast series of bowls and vases.Although Anna is best known for her glass creations, she has also designed many interesting pieces of furniture. Among design lovers, Anna Ehrner is also a rare lamp designer. With her 'Anna' lamp collection for Ateljé Lyktan in Sweden, she used a very recognizable style, but she also chose to use chrome combined with a canvas color. Just to make her lamps timeless. This Anna floor lamp is in very good condition, the canvas is still great and it works and illuminates your interior and your mood.
