About this vintage design furniture
Artimeta by Floris Fiedeldij 1950's Tivoli model. One of the first modern Dutch designs, very progressive for the 1950s. These lamps were exorbitantly priced for the time, so few were sold. This makes this lamp very rare. The shade has been professionally restored, overall very good condition.

About the designer
Floris H. FIEDELDIJ
Floris H. Fiedeldij was a Dutch designer who was born on January 29, 1921 in Amsterdam and died on September 3, 2004 in Baarn, Netherlands. He is best known for his work in product design and graphic motifs, notably for the Royal Tichelaar Makkum brand of ceramics.
