About this vintage design furniture
The Brooklyn sideboard was designed by Luigi Gorgoni in the 80s, as part of his elaborate work for Roche Bobois. The Brooklyn sideboard is a fine example of contemporary design. The design is strongly characterized by a vertical-horizontal division of the outer – and inner hinging drawers. The outer drawers are the strong vertical pillars and the horizontal drawers seem to float in between. The strong geometrical edge of the opposite drawers provides an interesting contrast. The glass top complements the entire look. The sideboard features a cherry wood veneered base and a heavy glass top. The credenza had a repair on 2 of the inner drawers, which isn’t visible from the outside. Other than this, the piece is in good condition. The glass is in pristine condition.
