About this vintage design furniture
Wengé Armchair model sz25sz80 designed by Hein Stolle for ‘t Spectrum in 1959. This re-upholstered Heine Stolle armchair is very beautiful because of its simplicity. The frame is made of wengé wood with a beautiful wood grain structure and the beautiful wood connections. It has been professionally restored (the wood has been sanded and varnished) and the seat and back has been reupholstered with off-white fabric from De Ploeg. This armchair has been in production from 1960-1969. Dimensions: h x w x d 70 x 65 x 77 cm, the seat height is 39 cm. Material: Wenge wood and Ploeg fabric. Source: Book ‘t Spectrum, page 71 (see photos). Hein Stolle was an architect and furniture designer. His teachers were Cor Alons and Mart Stam.

About the designer
Hein STOLLE
Hein Stolle was a Dutch designer known for his work in industrial design and furniture. He was born on January 31, 1924 in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and studied at the Utrecht Academy of Fine Arts before beginning his design career in the 1950s.
