About this vintage design furniture
This stunning mid-century lounge chair by Madsen and Schubell was designed in the 1950s in Denmark. The chair is in stained beech and features an outstanding design where the floating wingback and seat are encircled by and suspended within the round wood frame that continues seamlessly into shaped armrests and finishes off as tapered legs. Seat height 43cm. The chair is in very good vintage condition and has been upholstered less than 5 years ago and former owner haven’t used it much. From a non smoking home where they took good care of their furnitures. High quality fabric. We also have a matching pair of two low back armchairs and a sofa from same home if you want to make an impressive addition to your home. Please ask for pictures if you like to see.

Madsen & Schubell is the name of the design studio founded by Danish designers Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, who have been working together since 2006.
