Vintage lounge armchair by Madsen & Schübel, Denmark 1950s

This stunning mid-century lounge chair by Madsen and Schubell was designed in the 1950s in Denmark. The chair is in stained beech and features an outstanding design where the floating wingback and seat are encircled by and suspended within the round wood frame that continues seamlessly into shaped armrests and finishes off as tapered legs. Seat height 43cm. The chair is in very good vintage condition and has been upholstered less than 5 years ago and former owner haven’t used it much. From a non smoking home where they took good care of their furnitures. High quality fabric.
