Vintage coffee set "Adam" by Stanislaw Skomial, Poland 1960

The website called "Adam" was designed in 1965 by Stanisław Skomiał, newly employed at the Zakłady Porcelany Stołowej "Wałbrzych" in Wałbrzych, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. This is one of his first works.It was available in several colors. After the forms were exhausted, the cut was modified several times. The bodies were even finely grooved, a little convex, etc. The angle of the handles, the rim of the jug and even the shape of the lids were changed. The name "Fortuna" was sometimes used.Service in a characteristic marble painting with full gilding - such services were intended for export. This example was made for KRW Cieplice, it bears a double signature.
