A large vase designed by Jozef Hospodka for Chribska Sklarna in the mid-1960s. Hand-formed crystal glass, mass-dyed pink. Item in original, very good condition. A beautiful example of Czechoslovak design in the organic modern style. A real rarity, a very rare item in such a large size. About the designer
Josef HOSPODKA
Josef Michal Hospodka was a Czech designer who was born in 1923 and died in 1989. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague, where he began working as a teacher after graduating.
