About this vintage design furniture
The tobacco-colored leather armchair is in good condition. The leather has taken on a patina over time and offers an interesting play of colors. Leather, as well as the wooden star base, are flawless. The armchair offers good seating comfort and can be easily rotated. G. Thams designed this armchair in the 1960s for the Danish manufacturer Vejen, which was especially known for furniture with teak variants.

About the designer
Georg THAMS
Georg Thams was a German industrial designer born in 1935 in Flensburg and died in 2016 in Tønder, Denmark. He studied at the Flensburg School of Applied Arts and began his career working as a carpenter before turning to industrial design.
