Vintage Scandinavian rosewood chest or dressing table by AG Spejl K., 1960

Nice scandinavian furniture that can be used as a chest of drawers, a dressing table or a secretary from the AG Spejl Kobberbeskyttet manufacture. Indeed this piece of furniture is composed of two parts: a lower part opening to four drawers in front and a step composed of three drawers, a shelf and a door discovering a mirror. It is a beautifully made piece of furniture, entirely worked in high quality rosewood. The design of the wood grain on the whole piece of furniture is particularly beautiful. The upper part of the furniture is bevelled giving a lot of dynamism to this furniture. The mirror hidden in the top compartment is nicely curved. It rests on four cylindrical feet in rosewood joined by three crosspieces also in rosewood. The matt patina is magnificent and highlights the veneer. The label of the manufacture is on the mirror. A key is present.
