About this vintage design furniture
The armchair type 300-139 commonly called Stefan was designed and manufactured in the second half of the 1960s in the Swarzędz Furniture Factory as a flagship piece of furniture of the Communist authorities of the time. It was mainly intended for export. The style is very close to Scandinavian armchairs, which probably contributed to its great success. Today, this armchair is a rarity, and the prices of well-preserved copies are rising very quickly. The armchair has been completely renovated. The wood has been carefully sanded and covered with an ecological teak stain with a satin finish. The cushions have been re-assembled from foam with increased resistance to kneading. The fabric used is very resistant to dirt, and once it has settled, it can be removed and washed with zippers. It is possible to change the fabric on a special request - write via Design Market
