About this vintage design furniture
Drakkar" armchair by Gilbert Steiner for Sièges Steiner circa 1960 (rare variant of the Galion armchair with wooden legs). In very good condition, slight traces of use on the base, fabric refurbished about ten years ago with some small traces of use mainly on the arms. Very nice general aspect. Seat height: +-34cm.

About the designer
Hugues STEINER
1926 - 1991Hugues Steiner was a French designer born in Mulhouse in 1933 and died in Paris in 2014. He studied at the Strasbourg School of Applied Arts, then worked as a graphic designer and art director in several advertising agencies in France and Switzerland.
