About this vintage design furniture

This highboard was designed by Louis van Teeffelen (1921-1972) and produced by Wébé in the Netherlands during the 1950s. It is made from teak and features four small square tiles designed by the Dutch ceramist/artist Jaap Ravelli. Remains in very good vintage condition.

Louis VAN TEEFFELEN

Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
