About this vintage design furniture
A set of three shelves was designed in the style of Preben Sorensen in the 60s. These simple and elegant bookshelves made out of teak hang on solid wood rails by solid brass hangers. The set consists of: - three shelves 20 cm deep and 80 cm wide, - two wooden rails 95 cm long, - brass hardware The set is in very good original condition with minor signs of use. Teak wood was cleaned and coated with additional layers of Danish oil.

About the designer
Henning SORENSEN
Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
