About this vintage design furniture
Stylish and at the same time playful vintage Swedish design String wall system ‘The Ladder Shelf’ in light ash wood with one cabinet and 3 shelves. The Swedish designer couple Nisse and Kasja Strinning designed this modular wall system in 1949 for a design competition for a public library. A few years later, the design was put into production by String Design AB. It’s a nice airy design. This wall system is made of ash wood and consists of black uprights. In addition, there are 3 shelves of 20 cm deep 58 cm wide. The cabinet is 42 cm high, 78 cm wide and 20 cm deep. The total width of the system is 140 cm, the total height is 70 cm. The wall system is in good condition with light signs of use.
