Vintage Ribbon armchair by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, 1960s
About this vintage design furniture
Stunning Ribbon Chair, designed by the famous French designer Pierre Paulin in the 60’s. This amazingly comfortable chair is produced by Artifort. Metal frame with horizontal springs, covered with foam and stretch fabric combined with a lacquered pressed-wood pedestal. A beautiful example of applied art. Featured in the collection of the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia. It is completely restored with new foam and upholstered with new fabric. We used the very nice and high quality wool Kvadrat Tonus 4 fabric, color number 0424. The restoration has been done with the highest precision by a French Pierre Paulin specialist. The chair is in perfect condition
