About this vintage design furniture
Exceptional pair of Brazilian high chest of drawers from Móveis Cimo from the 1950s. Movéis Cimo is the main Brazilian furniture manufacturer, offering a wide range of products, from the most simple to the most specific. One of the chests of drawers still has the factory's label on the back: "Fabricacão especial". High quality work in imbuia wood and exotic wood with a dovetail assembly. These chests of drawers are very original: they remind the Art Deco style. They rest on 4 oblique tapered legs giving them a look reminiscent of brutalist architecture with this strong box and these more discreet legs. They open with 4 drawers in front. The interior height of the drawers is 14cm. The handles of the drawers are nicely curved offering an additional originality. They have been restored and re-varnished with a buffer.
