About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful teak and oak wooden table or desktable designed in the sixties for Andreas Tuck by a Dannish designer Hans J. Wegner. Andreas Tuck was the furniture producer that made the modern Danish furniture design known worldwide by its cooperation with the best designers of its time. Wegner was hired by Andreas Tuck in 1950 as a chief architect and furniture designer and designed probably their most well-known pieces. All tables manufactured with Andreas Tuck got article numbers AT-… This was done because the number of tables produced by Tuck where huge. There have also been a range with low production numbers and this makes the tables rare and also unknown. This small drawer table for example, is marked and in very good condition. Because the Tuck factory closed this table survived the archives and is very rare.
