About this vintage design furniture
Danish armchair GM11 designed by Svend Åge Eriksen for Glostrup Møbelfabrik, 1960s. This chair has beautifully shaped arms and is made entirely of solid teak and upholstered in black vinyl. The condition of this chair is still very good, with normal signs of use and wear. Dimensions: h x w x d 77 x 62 x 55 cm, seat height is 45 cm.

About the designer
Svend Aage ERIKSEN
Svend Aage Eriksen (1918-2002) was a renowned Danish designer, known for his innovative and functional work in furniture and lighting. Born in Copenhagen, he studied at the city's Royal Academy of Fine Arts and worked for various design companies before opening his own studio in 1954.
