About this vintage design furniture
The cabinet was made in the 1970s, manufactured by the well-known Danish factory Søborg. It was designed by the leading Danish designer Christian Hvidt. The furniture is made of solid wood, covered with mahogany veneer. Handles made of brass. The surface has been refreshed. Inside the space has been filled with two practical shelves with height adjustment. The cabinet with a classic solution of opening doors, thanks to which we have access to the entire interior. The furniture has two openings in the back panel, intended for cables. Condition: The surface of the cabinet after refreshing. Minor scratches and restored veneer defects are visible. Larger traces of use are always presented in the photos. The product is ready to use. For safety reasons, the furniture may have shelves removed for transport. Assembly should not be a problem. About the designer
Christian HVIDT
Christian Hvidt was a Danish industrial designer and architect, born in 1916 and died in 1986. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as an apprentice to a cabinetmaker.
