About this vintage design furniture
Danish design by Georg Thams with loose cushions. Manufactured by Danish furniture manufacturer Vejen Polstermøbelfabrik in about 1968. Bought from Jørgen C. Nielsen, Roskilde in 1968. Legs of solid rosewood. Original very good condition. Black leather. Cushions filling renovated. Leather is refreshed. Chair has no defects, but it may show slight traces of use.

Georg THAMS
Georg Thams was a German industrial designer born in 1935 in Flensburg and died in 2016 in Tønder, Denmark. He studied at the Flensburg School of Applied Arts and began his career working as a carpenter before turning to industrial design.
