About this vintage design furniture
This pair of armchairs was designed by Jose Espinho for Olaio, Portugal in 1959. The wooden structure has been fully restored and one of the armchairs is made of solid sucupira wood and the other of solid mahogany. They have clean and elegant lines. Upholstered with a new mustard fabric, this is a special edition with the original springs inside. They are in very good condition.

About the designer
José ESPINHO
José Espinho was a Portuguese designer born in 1926 and died in 1979. He studied at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Porto and began his career working as an industrial designer for the Vista Alegre Atlantis company, which specialized in porcelain production.
