About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful, triangle shaped coffee table designed by Poul Jensen, manufactured by Silkeborg in Denmark around 1950. Made of high quality teak in a nice warm brown colour. The triangle shaped top with rounded corners and slightly upwards edges gives the piece a nice, elegant style. The rattan magazine shelf underneath the top follows the same triangle shape, connected to the three gently tapered legs. A lovely piece of Scandinavian design Stamped underneath the top with the Silkeborg logo and “MADE IN DENMARK”. It remains in fair, vintage condition with some wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. There are some fadings and user marks to the top.
