Set of solid bronze cutlery created in the 1950s by the heir to the Swedish throne who became a designer, Sigvard Bernadotte. Published by Scanline. A pure design with sober lines, of the most beautiful elegance. For dining in style. The set includes 41 pieces: 12 knives (H. 21.5cm), 12 forks (H. 19cm), 12 spoons (H. 17.5cm), 1 small ladle (H. 20cm), 1 meat fork (H. 27cm), 1 pie server (H. 24.5cm) and 2 serving spoons (H. 27 and 23.5 cm). Stamped Scanline for the most part. CONDITION Signs of use and oxidation.

About the designer
Sivgard BERNADOTTE
Sigvard Bernadotte, born January 24, 1907 in Stockholm and died February 4, 2002 in Küssnacht am Rigi, Switzerland, was a Swedish industrial designer. He was also Prince of Sweden, son of Prince Wilhelm of Sweden and the Russian Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna of Russia.
