About this vintage design furniture
Patrick Norguet ’boson’ Armchair for Artifort, Set of 2 Good condition commensurate with age and use. Boson is an Artifort armchair designed by Patrick Norguet. Named after the Higgs bosons: fundamental particles that give other parts mass. The bosons were discovered in the 1960s, but never observed. The Boson armchair was developed against this background. The thickness of the plastic layer has been thinned as much as possible to achieve a functional balance. And where the visual mass ends, Boson’s lightness begins. Small traces on the back of the seats, minimal. These chairs were made around 2000. Also, these are only sold as a set.
