About this vintage design furniture
A large, unusually shaped mosaic coffee table designed by German artist Berthold Müller-Oerlinghausen (1893-1979) in the 1950s.The mosaic tiles rest on a wooden top, the frame and legs are made of patinated brass. Very beautiful graphic forms typical of Berthold Müller's work that show the craftsmanship and influence of modern graphic art of that time.

About the designer
Berthold MULLER
Per Muller (b. 1920) and Annelise Muller (b. 1926) were a Danish design couple, also known as Per and Annelise Berthold. Per studied painting at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, while Annelise studied ceramics and pottery at the Copenhagen School of Applied Arts.
