About this vintage design furniture
The “Rex” folding chair is a design by Niko Kralj, manufactured by Stol Kamnik in Slovenia around 1960. Made of high quality beech plywood in a nice, light brown colour. The chairs have a nice folding mechanism that provides easy storage and movability These versatile chairs would look great as a permanent piece in the decor, but can also very well be used for special occasions as they are easy to store. The open structure and slated seat and backrest add nicely to their unique style. At the same time, a gently curved shape and the armrests add to a nice seating comfort. They have the manufacturer’s label attached to the frame, as shown in the photos. Sold individually. They remain in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a nice patina.
