About this vintage design furniture
This is a pair of “Maralunga” lounge chairs, designed by Vico Magistretti and manufactured by Cassina in Italy around 1970. These iconic seats are famous for their unique structure which allows different positions for the backrests, as they can fold open This pair of comfortable chairs is upholstered in high quality cognac leather. They have been really well used and the leather has a lot of patina, as shown in the photos. This gives them a unique decorative style that would work very well in certain decors. They would fit seamlessly in an industrial decor, for example. Their structural condition is good, the upholstery is heavily patinated.
