About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful, eye-catching floor lamp designed by T.J. Kalmar for Kalmar, Austria around 1950. This elegant, minimalist piece has a unique and subtle design. The frame and hood are slightly asymmetrical, which gives the piece it’s very own design statement and an overall luxurious appearance The tall, cone shaped fabric hood is newly upholstered and compliments the piece beautifully. When lit, it emits a warm and gently diffused light that will add fantastically to the atmosphere in the decor. It remains in very good, restored condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
