About this vintage design furniture
2 rare Bauhaus style armchairs by the renowned Czech manufacturer Robert Slezak from the 40s. Czech Functionalism (Funkcionalism). The armchairs have been reupholstered and covered with a woolen fabric by Rohi The company was founded in 1908 by the locksmith Robert Slezak. In 1911 he was one of the first manufacturers to provide the surface of products with a galvanic coating of copper, nickel and chrome. From 1913, the production of metal furniture began, especially beds, tables and chairs according to his own designs in a combination of metal and wood.

About the designer
Henning SORENSEN
Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
