The Primafila was designed by Luca Meda for Molteni & Co in 1991. The Molteni design brand is one of the world’s leading furniture brands. This sofa was designed for the Carlo Felice theater. The shell is made of walnut wood and lined on the inside with dark blue velvet. About the designer
Alberto MEDA
Alberto Meda is an Italian designer born in Tremezzina in 1945. He studied mechanics at the Technical University of Milan and began his professional career in the aeronautical industry. He then worked as a consultant for major Italian and international companies such as Alfa Romeo, Philips, Olivetti, Kartell, Luceplan and Vitra.
