About this vintage design furniture
Teak coffee table designed by John Herbert for the British firm A. Younger. The piece is constructed in very simple lines, of which what stands out most is the beautiful meeting of the legs with the tabletop. The legs are tapered until they reach the floor, making it a very light design, both visually and formally.It is in perfect condition as it has been restored and finished with a colorless varnish and two coats of oil to ensure durability and waterproofing.

About the designer
John HERBERT
John Herbert was a British industrial designer, born in 1929 and died in 2007. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London in the 1950s and began his career working for the English furniture manufacturer Ercol.
