About this vintage design furniture
Retractable desk called Magic Box, designed by two Swiss designers in the late 1950s, Mr. Mumenthaler and Mr. Meier. It was then edited in different countries during the 1960s, in particular in Germany and Scandinavia. This desk has been edited in different wood species among which we have recognized teak, pine and light oak... This piece of furniture has been carefully restored by our cabinetmaker and is in an exceptional condition (even if the lock closes with difficulty). The pictures were taken with the furniture fixed on a pine strip (to avoid accidents during transport and handling); this strip will of course be removed upon delivery to the customer. The dimensions of the open cabinet are: h 115cm and 168 × 75 cm. The dimensions of the closed cabinet are: h 115 cm and 82 × 54 cm.
