About this vintage design furniture
Originally designed by Eero Aarnio in 1963, the ball chair made its debut at the Cologne Furniture Fair in 1966 and has since become a piece of design history. Constructed in white fiberglass, after the model by Eero Aarnio, the ball chair has a space-age aesthetic and swivels 360 degrees on its base. Newly reupholstered in orange wool fabric, the inside face of the chair is button tufted and a matching seat cushion with removable cover is shaped to fit the curved space. Height: 39.38 in. (100 cm) Width: 46.46 in. (118 cm) Depth: 37.8 in. (96 cm) Seat Height: 20.08 in. (51 cm) The item has been reupholstered. There is wear consistent with age and use; there are some small scratches and marks on the Fiberglass. Seller Reference Number: 128
