About this vintage design furniture
Dimensions 86 x 43 x 119 cm (W x D x H)Elegant Dieter Wäckerlin cabinet in teak veneer with a beautiful grain. The minimalist sideboard rests on a black metal base and has glass corners on the front. This is a rare Waeckerlin B-series display cabinet designed in the 1950s. Wäckerlin was a Swiss cabinetmaker, interior designer and furniture designer. His mid-century furniture is characterized by a purist design language, particularly visible in his famous sideboards. He developed furniture systems with Le Corbusier and became known for his collaboration with the manufacturer Behr in Osnabrück.The cabinet is in very good condition with only minor traces of use, some small scratches and dents on the wood and steel frame, very small marks on the edges, nothing that stands out. The wood has been refinished. The overall appearance is very nice.
