About this vintage design furniture

Jean Hardy Etching and aquatint on paper, framed and signed in pencil. The etching "Blossoms" was published in 1929. The image is 38cm x 38cm. The overall measurement, including the frame, is 59cm x 58cm. Number 149310. In excellent vintage condition. After Louis Icart, Jean Hardy was the most prolific of the Boudoir artists. He knew his fellow engravers well and exhibited at the "Salon des Humoristes" in the 1930s where many of them were active members.
