About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful pair of François Carre garden chairs, made in France around 1950. These chairs were commissioned by the famous designer Le Corbusier, which makes them valuable pieces of design history. The legs and backrest are elegantly curved, the seats have a sunburst pattern that gently follows the shape of the chair. They are made entirely of metal and have the inscription "La Menagere" perforated in the center of the seat, after the project for which they were used. Sold as a set. The chairs are in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a nice patina.
